Panauti Community Homestay is a community-based tourism initiative dedicated to preserving the rich cultural heritage of Panauti while creating sustainable livelihood opportunities for local women. Established over 14 years ago, the project began with a vision of empowering women through responsible tourism and has grown into a successful model of community-led hospitality. Our homestay offers visitors an authentic Newar cultural experience, where guests are welcomed into local family homes, enjoy traditional homemade cuisine, explore centuries-old heritage, and connect with the daily life and traditions of the community. Every stay directly supports local families and contributes to the preservation of Panauti's unique culture and identity.
